A First Hand View on Student Credit Cards – Part 1 of 5

As soon as I entered my campus I was received by a landslide of information. That very first day I was overwhelmed by different and wonderful people that smiled so very frequently and that offered me… the right information… on what? I could not tell you exactly but there I was with an self-evident look of estrangement and being lost that could not have been more evident if I had placed an ad attached to my chest-
I can tell you that it was amazing! All new registering students must go through what it might seem a welcome where we are required to enroll to new classes seek the pertinent information on housing and dorms as well as all the possibilities of extracurricular activities to which you can register, enroll and go see. Whether you are looking to becoming part of a sporting team, a supporter or on the other hand, to enlarge the huge number of “misfits” that just can live their lives without being attached to a sport-related activity.
I am of the latter. I do not believe that there is a specific reason to why anyone should be connected in life and dream to a sporting activity. The biggest and most prolific minds of the XX century as well as those who, like me, belong to the XXI century do recognize that even though taking part on a sporting activity is something that is to be desired, there is no need for anyone to actually devote 90% of their time to any such thing.
Well, anyway. I was standing there in the middle of all this mare magnum of people looking to register and trying at the same time to position themselves in the highest appreciation of the “beautiful people”. When I noticed several people with papers on their hands smiling and handing them out to anyone who was passing by or standing there and that seemed as lost as we newcomers were.
I stood on the line to register for the best and most demanding classes on mathematics and all sciences and seven or eight very nice-looking girls approached me. I remember because I was dumbfounded to see that they DO believe that all science people are geeks and misfits that will just giggle and mumble in the presence of beautiful women; like they are something that they have not yet seen or will not see ever again.
