A First Hand View on Student Credit Cards - Part 5 of 5

I placed a complaint under each other’s name and said that these girls were telling us that the student credit card offers made to us were of a certain amount and then changed or even falsified out signatures to change the amount. AS a student I expected the school to protect me from fraud, especially since the credit card promoters were located inside school grounds I had to understand that they were there with permission and agreements made with school authorities.
I said that we requested our forms to be cancelled and that only one of us was able to do so and only after he had to trick and cheat and force his way through the barricade these credit card promoters made, that is when he realized that the credit card limit he had requested was increased 5 folds. I continued saying that I was making responsible the school of all and any misdoing and fraud attempts the credit card company that was on campus would try or do using my name and signature.
Of course, the authorities and administrative personnel told me that neither they nor the school could be subjected to the malpractice of the banking or credit card institutions did on our names or using our signatures. I replied that it was something that was going to be seen.
I went higher than the level I had spoken to and I reached the head master of the entire university. Each school and each school’s headmaster were to report to him and I repeated my complaint. Needless to say that in the next following 5 minutes every single credit card promoter was escorted out of campus grounds without any of their forms which then were turned back to their owners.
Now it was the choice of each one of the students to go to the specific institution and request the student credit card or do the sensible thing and rip it out. In most cases I saw that they realized that their information had been changed or even their signatures falsified to make them apply for bigger credit card lines and then torn the applications.
On the campus’ newspaper, it was published that the actions of a group of new arrived students had led to the expelling of the credit card promoter at least for that single period though I never saw them again.
